Sherman County Historical Society is pleased to announce an Oregon Tourism Commission grant of $3,875 in support of the development of a unique, recognizable logo and tag line and four new signs for its national-award-winning Museum in Moro.
The Society contracted with a firm in The Dalles to provide design services for this project, the first phase of the organization’s Marketing and Communications Plan. The project goal is to attract increased visitor traffic at the Sherman County Historical Museum and the official Visitor Information Center inside and at other Sherman County attractions and businesses, according to Sherry Kaseberg, Museum Coordinator. In a partnership with Sherman County, the Society will distribute the County’s three new brochures with the Museum's brochure this spring. This project is made possible by a grant from the Oregon Tourism Commission and a match in the form of cash, goods and services contributed by Society and community members.
