Sherman County Historical Society Sherman County stories by Sherman County storytellers on aviation and wind power are featured in the Summer 2008 issue of Sherman County: For the Record now available at the Sherman County Historical Museum in Moro.
Planes, pilots and adventures are described and illustrated by authors Jane Kirkpatrick, Dave Anderson, Don Mobley, Larry Kaseberg, Judy von Borstel, Patty Moore, Eve and Ed Sharp, Joe Sharp, Patti Sharp, Kathy McCullough, Patricia Skiles, Nell Melzer, Keith Christiansen, Gordon Hilderbrand, Teresa Fridley, Don Decker, John Shearer, Laddie Lash and Joe Harvey, and some whose names will remain anonymous. Curly and Vada DeMoss and Nell Melzer tell stories about life before electricity. Youthful authors, Brian Simantel and Melanie Belshe, wrote about change and wind power. Sherman County: For the Record, a twice-yearly historical anthology, is one of the Sherman County Historical Society benefits.
