On Saturday, December 5th, authors Jane Kirkpatrick and Keith May will sign their books at the Sherman County Historical Museum’s annual Christmas Open House and Museum Store Sale in Moro.
Kirkpatrick will sign books from 11 until 2 and will make a special presentation at 1 o’clock. Keith May of Pendleton will be on hand to sign books from 10 until 2.
The Museum Store offers a 10%-off sale with a unique inventory of classic and wooden toys, puzzles, books, Christmas ornaments, hand-blown glass wheat stalks, enamel-ware jewelry, plush animal toys, locally-hand-crafted beaded bracelets, tote bags and quilted purses with matching wallets, and the Museum’s signature afghan, wine goblets, mugs and wheat-design t-shirts.
Back issues of the Historical Society’s historical anthology, Sherman County: For the Record, make fine Christmas gifts, as will a membership in the Society.
Make it a full day in Moro, shopping in downtown shops and at the Scholarship Association’s Christmas Bazaar at Sherman Jr/Sr High School where a basketball tournament, luncheon, dessert, silent auction, raffle, Christmas tree sale, and a library program will be underway between 10 until 4.
