Moro, OR – The Sherman County Historical Society and Sherman County Commission on Children and Families teamed up to offer a summer arts day camp for youth the week of July 12-16.
This project is funded by grants from Sherman County Cultural Coalition and the Sherman County Commission on Children and Families. Artist-in-residence, Janet Essley, with Columbia Gorge Arts in Education will work with Sherman County youth to produce a public art mural.
This project is limited to six youth who completed grades 6 through 12 on a first-call basis. The young artists will be engaged in this project for two or three hours a day for five days. There is no fee.
