Sherman County Historical Society Board of Trustees is pleased to announce partnerships in a Sherman Development League grant, together with a grant awarded by Oregon Tourism Commission, in support of the Society’s Marketing and Communications Plan.
In a funding partnership this project will replace the Museum’s directional and interpretive signs at Moro city limits, Museum entrances and the downtown Moro Visitor Information Kiosk using a new logo and tag line. In a timely contribution of goods and services, the Museum Web site, www.shermanmuseum.org <http://www.shermanmuseum.org/> , will also receive a new look. The third phase in this project will implement the logo and tag line on print materials as opportunities arise. The Historical Society is committed to marketing its award-winning Museum, the official Visitor Information Center inside, and Sherman County attractions and businesses. In a partnership with Sherman County, the Society will distribute the County’s three new brochures along with the Museum brochure this spring. Sherman Development League (SDL) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide charitable support through grants and loans to enhance the social, cultural and educational environment in Sherman County. SDL also serves as a fiscal sponsor in implementing community development and self-help projects which enhance the quality of life for the residents in Sherman County.
