The Dalles Chronicle 7/27/98 The Sherman County Historical Society recently announced the election of Wasco's Nancy Fields to the treasurer's position. Nancy and her husband, John, farm in the Wasco area with their oldest son and daughter-in-law, Tracy and Patti. Nancy has volunteered in Sherman County for many years, serving as museum host and other duties. She served eight years on the Wasco Grade School board as well as with the Sherman High booster club and Sherman County Cattlemen's Association, where she was treasurer. From this volunteer spots, she brings strong administrative, budget and organizational skills to her new position........ |
