Sherman County Historical Museum Opens for the Season

Moro, OR – Opening day is right around the corner!  May 1st the Sherman County Historical Museum opens for the season and visitors are welcome daily 10 a.m. until 5p.m. through October.  Everyone at museum invites you come view the updated Military Photo Wall and each month see a new local artist featured on the lobby wall.  The Sherman County Elementary will share some student artwork to be on display for the month of May.
 
Visitors will enjoy being greeted by the friendly volunteers and experiencing the first-rate interpretive and hands-on exhibits at the museum as they learn about Sherman County’s Heritage.   Patriotism: Pride and Anguish, Wheat Through the Ages, The Sherman County Journal: Paper, Ink & Presses, Cultivation, Conservation and Clothespins and Oregon Trails, Rails and Roads in Sherman County are among the exhibits to enjoy.
