Moro, OR – Sunday, June 1st is the Sherman County Historical Society Annual Membership Meeting and dinner and everyone is welcome to attend.  Come visit and tour the museum enjoying a social hour at 4pm while registering for dinner.  At 5pm, next door at the Senior Center in Moro, Oregon, the Moro Café will be serving a salmon dinner.  After dinner enjoy Richard W. Etulain, a prize-winning historian specializing in the history of the American West, and his presentation on Calamity Jane: The Life and Legends.  Please call and RSVP at 541-565-323.  
 
The Museum is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through October.   The Museum is operated by friendly volunteers with first-rate interpretive exhibits, hands-on activities, and a research genealogy library.  The Sherman County’s Visitor Center is also located at the museum.
