Christmas At The Museum

Moro, OR – The Sherman County Historical Museum Store in downtown Moro will be open for your Christmas shopping and visit with our beloved author Jane Kirkpatrick on Saturday, December 7th, from 10:00am until 3:00pm.  Store items will be 10% off for the sale, plus 10% for Society members.  The Museum will be open free of charge.

Jane Kirkpatrick will arrive at 1:00pm for book signing and a presentation at 2:00pm.  Jane will talk about the power of historical women, Mary Bishop (introduced to readers in Log Cabin Christmas), Emma Giesy (Change & Cherish series) and other books celebrating caregiving and helping people deal with grief.

Jane’s books will be featured along with our new Sherman County Christmas tree ornaments, Christmas cards, and Forest's Yule Logs.  We have stocking stuffers to surprise and delight!  For children we have books, small stuffed animals, games and toys.  All of the wonderful year-round standbys will be in stock – t-shirts and caps, mugs, the 1913 Sherman County atlas on CD, wheat field & Mt. Hood pictured mousepad, cards, books, lotions, jams, windmill charms, and more.

Museum Store manager Jessie Fuhrer invites you to come shop, enjoy refreshments, and tour the Museum on December 7th.  She also encourages everyone to visit the Sherman Junior Senior High School Scholarship Association Bazaar; hours are 10:00am to 2:00pm, located at the Sherman Junior Senior High School in Moro, OR.
